Two months ago, precisely September 2012, Lagos big boy and US returnee BOLAJI AJIMOTOKAN launched a NGO which he calls AGO Ajimotokan Foundation to take care of the needy, less privileged and
particularly school children in Lagos especially within his core constituency which is Agege, Lagos.
Since the birth of the foundation, Bolaji has been able to put smiles on the faces of a lot of people with efforts which includes free visa lottery programme for 250 people, last week he also donated books and writing materials to over 600 students of Olusanya Primary School in Agege, at a glamorous event which had the SUBEB education secretary Hon. Majiyagbe in attendance.
Born on the 22nd of august 1970, Bolaji holds a BSc in Civil Engineering from the University of Lagos, a post graduate diploma in Business Administration from the University of Wales and a Masters degree in
Business Administration from university of Phoenix, USA.
Come 15th of December 2012, at the Anwarul-islam model college, oniwaya road Agege, the Ajimotokan Foundation would host a charity event tagged ‘Jumbo market’.
The event that would kick off at 10am would host over 200 disabled, over 100 kids and the whole Agege
community, and would be giving out free cartons of food stuffs, snacks, toiletries, free eye test for 100 people as well as a novelty football match between the anwarul Islam team and the millennium high school team.
In the words of Bolaji, ‘our mission is to make the lives of our people very comfortable, and provide for them the basic necessities of life that they lack, and ensure the average street kid has hope for tomorrow’
